Paintbox

A pack of cards based on the artist's paintbox, with the suits based on the original of the pigments

This 60-card pack shows an array of the colours available to the painter, printer, and dyer, selected from across the ages and regions, in the standard pigment classification of Animal, Vegetal, Mineral, and Synthetic. It is a Congress deck, with 11- and 12-spot cards added to maximise the number of hues.
All conventional card games can be played with the deck, but you can also make up your own games of palettes or colour-sets.
